Description
EHS Specialist:
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to create a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide training programs to educate employees on safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report on environmental impacts, including air emissions, waste management, and chemical usage.
- Manage and oversee safety programs such as hazard communication, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation and ensure timely submission of required regulatory reports.

Profile
EHS Specialist:
- B.S. in EHS/Science or something related
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- 3+ years of experience in EHS management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify hazards and develop effective solutions.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to conduct training and influence safety.
