What You'll Do:

  • Lead and maintain a safety-first culture, ensuring every team member looks out for themselves and one another.
  • Develop and deliver impactful safety training programs, manage safety committees, and proactively identify and remedy hazards.
  • Investigate incidents (accidents, injuries, and property damage), ensure compliance, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for workers' compensation claims and return-to-work strategies across all U.S. manufacturing locations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to reduce downtime, mitigate claims, and ensure effective rehabilitation processes.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, environmental, and security compliance standards, including air and water inspections and hazardous materials handling.
  • Oversee contractor and new employee orientations, safety CAPEX projects, and annual Health & Wellness initiatives.
  • Drive security protocols to protect people and property while minimizing theft and external threats.
  • Be a voice for crisis management and emergency preparedness, offering expert guidance to local safety reps and leadership.

What You Bring:

Must-Haves:


  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant safety/environmental health role
  • Strong communication skills (written + verbal)
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance standards and inspections

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in EHS, Occupational Health, or related field
  • Experience in the Alcohol Beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry

Physical & Role Requirements:

  • Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Must be able to work 8-hour shifts and occasional overtime
  • Comfortable working in loud environments and near moving machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety policies
  • This is an on-site role-your presence matters
