Graphic/Environmental Designer, Healthcare


This is a long-term contract opportunity (through 2025 with the intent to extend into 2026)

$65, W-2 hourly

Part-time: 25-30 hours per week

San Francisco Bay Area preferred, between Sacramento and San Francisco, for occasional on-site events or openings


The Sage Group's client, a large, not-for-profit integrated health system primarily located in Northern California that operates 24 acute care hospitals and over 200 clinics, serving over 3 million patients annually and a major employer in the region, with over 57,000 employees, seeks a graphic/environmental designer for environmental graphics and event materials to join their Creative Services Department.


In this role, you will enhance the brand look and feel, keeping consistent throughout all events, help support the graphic design team, and the recently added sponsorship department and events department. You will design signage, keepingwithin certain spaces that are immersive and impactful. Design will encompass elements like wayfinding, signage, and interactive experiences, aiming to connectpeople with the environment and convey the brand's story. They would also design any support materials for events. Using design, typography, color, and imagery to enhance the brand during a very busy time.

This designerwould support all systemwide events,sponsorships, and large-scale graphics, including regular events, symposiums, building wraps (large format shuttle and mobile van), and opening signage, as well as care center graphic support.


To be successful, you will bring the following skills, experience, and capabilities:


  • 4+ years in graphic design
  • 2+ years of Environmental design experience
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent PowerPoint presentation work samples
  • A bachelor's degree in design, advertising, or similar field
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus
  • Non-profit company experience is a plus
