What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Affairs, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
(An Associate's + solid experience? We'll definitely chat.) - 3+ years in a chemical plant, refinery, or manufacturing environment.
- Solid knowledge of state and federal environmental laws (and how to navigate them).
- Confidence negotiating with agencies and leading compliance efforts.
- If you know ISO 14001 , Lean/Six Sigma , or have extra certifications? Even better.
- Strong communication skills - because being smart AND likeable is a winning combo.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct inspections like a boss - daily, weekly, monthly.
- Master the air, water, and waste permitting world (seriously, you'll handle it all).
- Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste (responsibly, not like a movie villain).
- Keep regulators happy by prepping sharp reports and permits.
- Dominate audits and compliance tracking (clipboards are optional).
- Lead environmental training so the whole plant knows their green game.
- Partner and interact with agencies and stakeholders (and actually enjoy it.).
- Help with environmental equipment upgrades - because shiny, efficient tech rocks.
- Stay sharp by attending trainings (and maybe collecting some new certifications along the way).
