The firm's environmental practice focuses on multi-party, complex litigation, and the ideal candidate will possess strong litigation writing skills, with experience in environmental law being a plus. Duties:
- Handle complex, multi-party litigation cases with a focus on environmental issues.
- Draft and respond to discovery requests and manage discovery processes.
- Conduct thorough legal research on relevant environmental and litigation topics.
- Prepare and file detailed briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
- Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and litigation teams to develop and execute legal strategies.
- Provide support for case strategy and litigation tactics from inception to resolution.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on multi-party cases.
- Experience in environmental law (CERCLA experience is a plus).
- Strong litigation writing skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active admission to the California State Bar.
