The goal is to document our primary lower (development and test) environments and integrations for SAP, Salesforce, O9, DocuSign, etc. and write the playbooks for maintenance, refreshes, upgrades, and test
PURPOSE OF POSITION (2 OR 3 BRIEF SENTENCES):
The Environment Consultant will be responsible for create a playbook on how to manage IT Environments. Will start by defining a clear set of activities that we need to do on our side to manage our Private Cloud environment with SAP Rise platform and then moves to the direction of our CI/CD process in a way to stablish what we need when a refresh of a NON prod environment is needed.
TOP (5) POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & ESTIMATED PERCENTAGE OF TIME EACH REQUIRES:
45% Environment Management playbook to SAP Rise 20% CI/CD Integration 15% Continuous Improvement - Work with IT Management to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments. Build and manage Release Train Engineers 10% Documentation and Collaboration Maintain a release repository and key information asuch as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists. Provide regular release reports. 10% Other job duties and projects as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (MINIMUM REQUIRED):
YRS EDUCATION: 10 CERTIFICATIONS: SAP Architecture related certification
SAP Basis related certification
EXPERIENCE/
KNOWLEDGE: Experience with SAP Rise
Knowledge of software development lifecycle
COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and project simultaneously
Ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
OTHER SPECIALIZED SKILLS & ABILITIES (i.e., leadership, communication, interpersonal, etc.): Strong verbal, written, listening and presentation communication skills
