The Leidos National Security Sector (NSS) is at the forefront of supporting our defense and intelligence customers, tackling evolving global threats. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Entry-Level Systems Administrator to be part of a new cybersecurity program aimed at protecting government-critical systems.
Your Role and Responsibilities: - Provide technical support and maintenance for IT systems, troubleshooting both hardware and software issues.

- Collaborate closely with senior IT professionals to ensure reliability and security across our IT infrastructure.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and upkeep of servers, desktops, and network devices.
- Deliver helpdesk support and resolve user issues related to operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Monitor system performance and aid in backup and disaster recovery efforts.
- Engage in basic networking functions such as managing user access, resetting passwords, and Active Directory management.
- Contribute to patch management, antivirus updates, and security compliance initiatives.
- Support cloud services like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and foundational AWS/Azure administration.
- Document IT procedures and add to internal knowledge databases.
- Learn and apply basic scripting and automation techniques to enhance IT workflows.
What We Require: - Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is a must.
- A Bachelor's degree with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with less than 2 years of experience. Experience can be considered in place of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are favorable.
- Basic knowledge of virtualization platforms (like VMware or Hyper-V) and scripting languages (such as PowerShell or Bash) is a plus.

Pay Range: $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
