Description

The National Security Sector at Leidos is excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated Entry-Level System Analyst to be part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting the Fires Division's Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) and Post-Production Software Support (PPSS) Maintenance and Sustainment missions. Our team provides crucial engineering and technical services to the CECOM Software Engineering Center's Mission Command Division.

As a successful candidate, you will assist our customers in creating innovative capabilities and deliver exceptional technical services and subject matter expertise in Mission Command, Fires, and C2 Maneuver systems. You will specifically provide technical support for the Family of US Army's FIRES Systems, including AFATDS, AN/TQP-53, and LCMR Q49A.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of various software for engineering applications.
  • Collaborate with software developers to comprehend analytic or interface requirements.
  • Support the testing of tools and interfaces.
  • Assist in designing and testing operating systems-level software and network distribution software applications.
  • Contribute to setting operational specifications and analyzing software requirements.
  • Support the design of embedded systems software.
  • Analyze user needs and assist in designing and testing software solutions.
  • Provide troubleshooting support to fielded units and offer feedback on reported issues.
  • Operate AFATDS and related external interfaces to aid in the testing of software solutions.
  • Generate and execute operational test cases to validate implemented software solutions.
  • Maintain and update software specifications, release notes, formal test documentation, and training materials.
  • Offer subject matter expertise at remote locations during formal test events.
  • Ensure lab test environments are maintained with the currently fielded versions of AFATDS and its external interfaces.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience with AFATDS.
  • A current and active Secret Clearance.
  • An Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related Engineering or Technical discipline; or 4 additional years of applicable experience as a substitute for the degree.
  • Familiarity with AFATDS operations and doctrinal concepts associated with AFATDS, including techniques, tactics, and procedures.
  • A willingness to travel as needed for development/testing activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience with Agile Development methodologies.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other relevant Engineering or Technical fields.

Pay Range:

$57,850.00 - $104,575.00
