Responsibilities
  • General knowledge of sales tactics
  • General knowledge of industrial instrumentation, PLCs, database software, telemetry and oilfield instrumentation are very helpful but not required.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with time management skills.
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to find and promptly engage with the decision makers.
  • Work closely with Field Services Organization to accurately quote new installations, including field travel as needed Work through prospects' objections and close new business.
  • Provide accurate and timely entry of prospect and sales data.
  • Represent Expanse Electrical as the primary customer contact. Be accountable for the overall customer relationship.
  • Maintain current knowledge of field service issues related to customers.
  • Conduct frequent customer status contact meetings.
  • Identify regional marketing opportunities and participate in trade shows as needed.
  • Provide competitive and market feedback to Expanse Electrical management.
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, and Excel
  • Familiarity with industrial sales practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Ability to effectively and regularly converse and comprehend in English.
