Responsibilities - General knowledge of sales tactics
- General knowledge of industrial instrumentation, PLCs, database software, telemetry and oilfield instrumentation are very helpful but not required.
- Demonstrated self-starter with time management skills.
- Ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Strong verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to find and promptly engage with the decision makers.
- Work closely with Field Services Organization to accurately quote new installations, including field travel as needed Work through prospects' objections and close new business.
- Provide accurate and timely entry of prospect and sales data.
- Represent Expanse Electrical as the primary customer contact. Be accountable for the overall customer relationship.
- Maintain current knowledge of field service issues related to customers.
- Conduct frequent customer status contact meetings.
- Identify regional marketing opportunities and participate in trade shows as needed.
- Provide competitive and market feedback to Expanse Electrical management.
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
Qualifications - Excellent knowledge of MS Office, and Excel
- Familiarity with industrial sales practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Ability to effectively and regularly converse and comprehend in English.
