Your opportunity for growth starts here. We are seeking a motivated Junior Network Administrator to join our Multi-domain Solutions Division (MDS) as part of an exciting new cybersecurity program. This role will be vital in maintaining and supporting critical government systems. You will be involved in the development, integration, delivery, and operations and maintenance of managed IT security services to monitor cybersecurity threats and enhance situational awareness within the enterprise. This is an exciting opportunity as we anticipate a future contract award.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting our network infrastructure.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm to grow networking skills with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and cloud services.
- Help install, configure, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Provide initial troubleshooting for network connectivity issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
- Support VPN, VoIP, and remote access solutions for staff and remote offices.
- Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and system alerts, assisting in issue resolution.
- Maintain firewall rules, access controls, and network security settings.
- Apply updates, patches, and configurations to ensure adherence to security policies.
- Participate in basic security monitoring by identifying and reporting potential threats.
- Assist with cloud-based network configurations (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Networks, Google Cloud networking).
- Help configure and maintain Wi-Fi networks and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Keep network diagrams, configuration records, and troubleshooting guides updated.
- Stay informed about networking best practices and emerging technologies.
- Support network infrastructure upgrades and expansions under supervision.
What We Require: - Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with less than 2 years of experience. Relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
Preferred Qualifications: - CompTIA Network+ certification (highly recommended).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.

Pay Range: $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
