This role is ideal for candidates with internship experience in accounting who are eager to apply their skills in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing schedules to support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
- Assist in bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining general ledger accounts and journal entries.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Conduct financial data analysis and assist in preparing reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with team members on audits and financial reviews.
- Utilize accounting software to input and manage financial data.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Internship experience in accounting or finance is a plus not required
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, is a plus not required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
