This contract to hire role as an Enterprise Supplier Management Analyst III in Richardson, TX is responsible for actively participating in supplier management and governance of key vendors and business relationships, by ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, enforcement of penalties and monitoring of supplier risk. This position monitors / analyzes vendor performance, measures performance against SLAs, KPIs, identifies supplier improvement/innovation opportunities, coordinates supplier audit activities / responds to and coordinates supplier interactions with client's departments. This role also supports other team members, manager / director related to vendor management activities.


Pay Rate: $45-$50 per hour


Responsibilities:



• Executes Enterprise Supplier Management Governance Program for mid-tier list of critical suppliers (Tier 2) to support client's business objectives.


• Plans and coordinates execution on Strategic Business Reviews with critical / enterprise suppliers and with executive leaders within the client (1x per year per supplier for Tier 2)


• Ensures visibility into market trends, healthcare insights and best practices from suppliers


• Executes, calibrates the Balanced Scorecard (supplier customer satisfaction survey) with internal leadership and business owners (1x per year per supplier for Tier 2)


• Delivers Balanced Scorecard results to critical supplier and monitors action plans to drive improved performance.


• Drives SLA oversight and monitoring; ensures remediation of missed SLAs


• Drives SLA penalty process and SLC collection


• Heavily drives/coordinates supplier health reporting


• Drives and monitors innovation and process improvement activities with supplier and the business


• Manages contractual obligations with supplier and the business


• Leads monthly stewardship/governance meetings with the supplier


• Drives issue management and escalations as needed? Invoice oversight, spot check and resolution.


• Driving risk assessments and contingency planning


• Driving compliance and audit support


• Ensuring DR/BCP plans are in place and tested


• Drives annual contract review and recommendations


• Drives location assessments and recommendations


• Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, suppliers, etc.


• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across various departments (including Risk Management, Privacy, Audit, Finance, Legal and Information Security, Government, Retail and Healthcare Management) and suppliers.


Job Requirements:



• College Degree in Business or Finance, or 4 years of relevant experience PLUS: 4-6 years of experience with vendor interactions or managing vendors and/or experience in a procurement environment.


• Demonstrated Thought Leadership.


• Ability to build strategic relationship with senior-level colleagues.


• Analytical skills to support and enhance procurement strategy and goals.


• Ability to function in ambiguous and/or time-sensitive situations.


• Clear, concise, and confident interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.


• Knowledge and skills to participate and be effective in vendor interactions and vendor management with industry suppliers.


• Knowledge of vendor management best practices (specific performance management, risk, compliance, and audit vendor processes).


• Strong multitasking capabilities


• Knowledge of strategic sourcing principles.


• Experience in project management and vendor negotiation.


• Experience developing presentations and presenting to management and other internal groups.


• PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.


• Ability to drive to conflict resolution.


• Ability to influence stakeholders.


• Ability to negotiate successfully with suppliers

Preferred Job Requirements:


• Knowledge of client's organization


• Knowledge of Business Process Outsourcing or Information Technology Outsourcing


• Knowledge of Insurance industry
