American Heritage Credit Union, a $5 billion credit union, has an immediate opening for an Enterprise Risk Management Representative. This position involves tactical analysis of operating and supporting systems to identify patterns and trends of fraud and suspicious activity, maintenance of the BSA Database and supports compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, as well as the Patriot Act.

REQUIREMENTS/DUTIES:
  • Perform tactical fraud analysis of systems such as Symitar and Verafin to identify transactions, patterns, habits and/or trends of fraud to prevent or minimize losses of suspicious activity and/or violation of regulations
  • Identify potential cases in preparing and submitting to the BSA Coordinator for review to become potential Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR's).
  • Review daily cash report to identify potential cases that are submitted to the BSA Coordinator for review to become potential Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR's).
  • Review risk ratings assigned to member in Verafin to recommend to BSA Coordinator for modifications.
  • Cross-Train and utilize fraud detection software applications, including but not limited to Verafin. Detects suspicious activities using fraud detection software and reports suspicious activities to the BSA Coordinator. Monitors changes in member risk ratings in the fraud detection software applications monitoring system.
  • Become apprised of new fraud techniques and security developments for counteracting fraud.
  • Remain current and knowledgeable of all aspects of local, state and federal regulations that affect the credit union.
  • Remain active in the University Program of American Heritage Credit Union and complete the position's present curriculum as outlined in the Online University by completing the following - Credit Union annual required compliance training, the Online University required coursework within assigned timeline, and the supplemental courses listed in the Online University Curriculum within the prescribed timeline.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Certification in BSA is preferred
  • Keen eye for details and strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving
  • Intermediate mathematical skills required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions,).
  • Possess strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Must possess high degree of confidentiality & ethical
  • Considerable judgment is required. Must analyzed complicated factual situations, apply functional principles and develop
  • Working knowledge or the ability to learn and understand credit union products and services.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
EDUCATION
  • Requires education equivalent to a four year high school diploma
WORK HOURS
  • Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Must be available for rotating Saturday hours
