Overview This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
The Enterprise Data Consultant (Senior Collibra Integration Developer) is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data governance solutions using Collibra. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver tailored solutions that enhance data management processes. This position requires strong expertise in Collibra development, data governance principles, and integration with other enterprise systems.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Implement and customize the Collibra Data Governance Platform based on business requirements.
- Develop integration capabilities between Collibra and various data sources/systems, including on-premises and cloud environments for seamless data flow and automation.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline data governance processes and administrative tasks using Python, Java, or other relevant technologies.
- Implement end-to-end metadata, lineage, and data governance solutions.
- Design, develop and configure business process Workflows using Groovy & Workflow Designer in Collibra.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT, batch and real-time data pipelines.
- Scan different sources with Collibra Catalog connectors, configuring the JDBC drivers.
- Configure Collibra Data Quality & Observability, setting up data quality rules and configuring DQ workflows to support DQ initiatives.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years' experience developing data applications, integration pipelines.
- Hands-on experience in data profiling, data modeling, and data engineering using databases (Snowflake, RedShift, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server), ETL tools (Informatica IICS), and scripting languages (Python).
- Experience working with relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
- Proficiency in using Collibra REST APIs for workflow automation, data exchange, and custom integrations with other tools.
- Strong experience with Collibra Data Governance platform, including design, configuration, and development.
- Familiar with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and willing to deepen knowledge in this area.
- Experience leading multiple Collibra implementations, SAAS implementation preferred.
- Experience with metamodel design.
- Experience and strong proficiency with workflow development tools - Groovy scripting/BPMN.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, etc.
- Integration of Collibra with other tools like DBT, Erwin, etc.
- Understanding of ETL processes and connecting Collibra with cloud/on-prem databases.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and best practices.
