Leidos is seeking a dynamic Enterprise Architecture Leader to drive the architectural vision and strategy for AI and data solutions within a major Federal Law Enforcement Agency program. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and IT teams to craft and execute scalable, secure, and efficient architectures that harness AI technologies and data-driven insights. Your expertise in enterprise architecture principles, AI technologies, and data management will be crucial in guiding decision-making, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and enhancing operational capabilities. This position is based onsite in the DC area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop comprehensive AI and data architectures that align with business objectives, ensuring optimal scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Create architectural blueprints and strategy roadmaps to guide the integration of AI and data solutions organization-wide.
  • Lead the development and deployment of data platforms and AI-driven systems that enable advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation.
  • Define the AI strategy and oversee its deployment across various business units, ensuring it harmonizes with business goals.
  • Oversee the integration of AI models, tools, and technologies into production systems.
  • Design scalable cloud-based and on-premises data architectures using platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Employ big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) to ensure the organization can ingest, process, and analyze data at scale.
  • Facilitate the integration of AI models and algorithms into big data platforms while effectively managing structured and unstructured data.
  • Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to convert business needs into innovative architectural solutions utilizing AI and data analytics.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in AI, machine learning, data technologies, and architecture best practices.
  • Champion the adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies, securing the organization's competitive edge and innovation.
  • Evaluate and address risks linked to data and AI architectures, ensuring the secure management of sensitive information.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture, including 3-5 years specifically in AI and data-driven architecture design.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Expertise in AI/ML technologies (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras) along with familiarity with deep learning and natural language processing (NLP).
  • Strong understanding of big data platforms such as Hadoop, Apache Spark, and data lakes.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) for scalable data solutions.
  • Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Awareness of AI ethics and the implications of machine learning and data usage within organizations.
  • Strong ability to align AI and data solutions with business goals and objectives.
  • Proven capability to address complex architectural and business challenges by developing innovative AI-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with DevOps practices related to AI and data architecture, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) for AI models.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for AI and data architecture.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Certifications in enterprise architecture, AI, or data science (e.g., TOGAF, Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate) are desirable.

Pay Range: Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
