Job Description:
As an Enterprise Architect, you will collaborate with a cross-functional software development team to design and develop a new enterprise platform. This role requires working across Application Development, Service Delivery, and Infrastructure to define, document, and implement enterprise architecture standards. You will lead architectural initiatives, contribute to strategic planning, and ensure that cloud solutions are aligned with organizational goals and best practices. The position involves hands-on design, implementation, and consultation on cloud-native and hybrid solutions in Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Azure
  • Develop architecture standards and documentation for cloud and hybrid environments
  • Collaborate across development, infrastructure, and service delivery teams on architectural initiatives
  • Provide technical leadership for key enterprise architectural design efforts
  • Engage in cloud strategy, roadmap planning, and stakeholder consultations
  • Evaluate and implement secure, scalable Azure-based infrastructure and services
  • Define and enforce cloud governance, compliance, and cost management practices
  • Guide adoption of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Support containerization efforts using AKS, Docker, and Helm
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using PowerShell, Bicep, and Terraform
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
  • 5-8 years designing and implementing enterprise-grade solutions on Microsoft Azure
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Compute, Networking, Storage, Database, and Identity services
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Centre
  • Hands-on expertise with Azure SQL Managed Instance and other Azure database services
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools including AKS, Docker, and Helm
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture and hybrid cloud strategies
  • Proven ability to lead cloud architecture strategy and discussions with stakeholders
  • Solid knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture, RBAC, and Azure AD
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC 2, NIST)
  • Experience with infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Bicep, and Terraform
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Recognized certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert and/or Cybersecurity Architect Expert preferred
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $90.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
