Norfolk, VA, USASalaryFull Time seeking a full-time Senior Enterprise Architect. This is an exempt position in support of a government customer in the Norfolk, VA area. Duties and Responsibilities The Senior Enterprise Architect must have experience in Enterprise Architecture level positions or above related to the implementation of an Enterprise Architecture framework in a federal Agency/Department. Perform enterprise-level infrastructure management, software design or development, infrastructure architecture, content distribution, database architecture, IP networking, IT security, data center operations, and enterprise applications. Apply the methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting customer enterprise IT architecture. Demonstrate an understanding of the MSC Command, Control, Communications, and Computer (C4) system requirements in relation to the customer's missions and have an understanding of the strategic and technical needs as well as an expert level ability to understand the business domain of business problems, with the intent to solve the business problems. Understand enterprise architecture frameworks and enterprise IT management frameworks, identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications, and global infrastructure assets. Support the development of IT rules and requirements that describe baseline and target architectures. Coordinate and support the development of a broad range of DoDAF architectures to support Systems Engineering, Program Management, and Senior leadership in the development of new or existing IT systems throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle. Possess strong presentation and written communication skills and a high degree of comfort with technical and executive audiences and expert-level ability to interact with senior leadership within a customer or partner organization. Desired Education and Years of Experience: Active SECRET clearance Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, and/or science 10 years of relevant experience FEAC certified ACEA Green Belt or equivalent required, FEAC certified CEA Black Belt or equivalent (preferred) DODM 8140.03 and DODI 8140.02 Qualification for Advanced Enterprise Architect (651) or current equivalent in the case where the current DOD issuance is superseded. Expertise in the use of the DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF 2.0) At a minimum, possess a major EA framework certification (FEAF, TOGAF, etc.) Desired Skills Experience with API integrations using security and operational tools (ServiceNow ) Experience with workflows and large data connections/transfers between API channels ServiceNow Service Management tool technical implementation and integration with Asset Management and Security Management tools Agile methodologies
