The incumbent will contribute to defining, developing, and delivering an effective "pan-government" information technology (IT) strategy to meet the government's evolving vision to be a World Class Civil Service.

As a Enterprise Architect you will be responsible for:
- Delivering integrated, scalable, and robust enterprise applications and must be knowledgeable in SDLC, source code control, and change management principles. The individual will work with a high-performing team of Application and Web Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers supporting a myriad of applications across the estate.
- Strategic IT management, Strategic planning, technology road mapping, Architecture, Solution design oversight, Vendor Assessment Management and Technology Evaluation and Coach, Mentor, and Continuous Improvement.
- Proven ability to effectively lead and inspire a team technical professional.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with architectural modeling tools and Application Portfolio Management products.
- Deep understanding of modern technologies and trends, including microservices, web service orchestration, cloud computing, and containerization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on driving measurable business outcomes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
- 10 plus years of Enterprise software development
- A minimum of 4 plus years of proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, or in a similar role, preferably within a government or large-scale enterprise environment.
- Experience with a tech stack using Oracle, Java, React and Cloud.
- Experience in budget planning and financial management is required, as well as success in leveraging both traditional practices, such as IT service management, as well as emerging methods, such as DevOps, that are optimized for agility.
- DevOps, and Cloud (Azure preferred) experience
- Experience with containerization.
- The ability to relocate to the Caribbean.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL) are strongly preferred and may supplement formal education or experience.
