About the Role:
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the comprehensive architecture of an organization's IT systems and solutions. This role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and business acumen to align technology initiatives with business objectives, optimize processes, and foster innovation.
Collaborating with stakeholders across departments, the Enterprise Architect develops and maintains an integrated, scalable, and efficient technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Architectural Excellence: Apply architectural best practices across technologies to solve organizational challenges. Develop roadmaps and future visions for IT systems, considering interactions between infrastructure, operations, and development. Ensure compliance with regulations and operational excellence, while staying updated on IT industry trends (e.g., CI/CD, AI, and migration).
- Enterprise Architecture Development: Design and implement solutions across diverse industries and business domains. Build strong relationships with decision-makers to advocate for cloud adoption and modernization. Define and implement repeatable mechanisms, architectures, and playbooks to streamline modernizations and migrations to AWS or other platforms.
- Cloud Modernization & Migration: Lead modernization and migration programs, including on-prem to cloud, cloud-to-cloud, and hybrid cloud solutions. Design comprehensive cloud architectures across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS offerings. Oversee assessment efforts using workshops, questionnaires, and immersion days to understand technology landscapes.
- Solution Delivery: Partner with business and technology leaders to ensure solutions meet functional, technical, and migration requirements. Work with other technical architects to ensure consistent enterprise architecture processes and practices.
- Risk and Quality Management: Analyze existing business applications and ensure alignment with global technology standards. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for technology solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Mentor and guide internal teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Identify opportunities for optimization and process improvements within enterprise architecture.
Requirements- Proficient in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
- Familiar with data privacy and compliance requirements across industries and geographies.
- Proven experience in designing scalable, reliable IT systems with a focus on cloud technologies, microservices, and DevOps practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with consulting or professional services firms is a plus.
- Certifications like TOGAF or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
