Classification Summary:

Individuals in this position will be responsible for administering and supporting enterprise business applications, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms. Key duties include upgrading, maintaining, and configuring these applications, managing user security, and providing direct technical support to employees and users. The position also includes working with vendors to resolve support and configuration issues.

Work is performed under the general direction of the assigned ICT Supervisor or Manager who reviews work performed based on the Essential Job Functions.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Application Management and Administration. Installs, configures, and deploys enterprise applications to meet business requirements. Maintains application environments, ensuring availability, stability, and security. Manages user access, roles, and permissions to ensure data security.
  2. System Upgrades, Patches, & Maintenance. Plans and implements software upgrades, patches, and security updates. Conducts system testing and validation before and after updates to prevent disruptions.
  3. User Support & Training. Sets up and maintains user accounts, permissions and roles through role-based security to provide a stable and secure environment for member and organizational data for operational continuity. Coordinates with vendors and internal teams.
  4. Maintain System Performance. Continuously monitors system performance by utilizing available tools and promptly addresses and resolves any technical issues to maintain high levels of productivity and user satisfaction.
  5. Integration & Customization. Works with subject matter experts and vendors to integrate enterprise applications with other business systems and processes. Configures applications to meet business requirements, including workflow automation and process improvements.
  6. Collaboration. Works closely with other business units to understand application needs and recommend solutions. Participates in strategic technology planning to align enterprise applications with organizational goals. Collaborates with project managers, vendors, and subject matter experts to implement new features and system improvements.
  7. Technical Documentation. Writes documentation and technical procedures for applications such as, but not limited to, system administration, application configuration, vendor documentation, and maintenance/upgrade schedules.
  8. Safety. Practices safe work habits in the performance of all job duties and is familiar with and follows those portions of the Cooperative Safety Manual that pertain to the position.
  9. Other Essential Duties. Each employee is responsible to perform other duties as required to benefit the Cooperative and its members, includes responding to and/or assisting in emergency situations.
Minimum Training and Experience:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in from a regionally accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology or related field and four (4) years of experience supporting with enterprise applications.

Substitution:

An Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with some coursework in computer science, business technology or related field and two years of related experience may substitute for required education.

This position requires certification as a Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) or equivalent to be obtained within twelve (12) months of employment in this position.

Individuals in this position must maintain a valid State of Florida driver's license.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Skilled in the use of Microsoft Productivity Applications (O365, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)

Skilled in the support of n-tier enterprise applications such as Customer Information Systems (CIS), Financial Information Systems (FIS), Geospatial Information Systems (GIS), Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Work Management Systems, Document Management Systems, etc.

Skilled with Windows and Linux server environments in support of enterprise application services.

Skilled with Windows workstation user support, including productivity and browser-based applications.

Skilled in SQL query (TSQL, PLSQL) and reporting (Crystal Reports, PowerBI, SSRS) development.

Skilled in change management that includes, but not limited to, communication outlining the purpose of the change, the benefits and how the change will impact others; strategic planning; emotional intelligence; problem-solving; analytical thinking; project management; removing barriers to change; monitoring the change progress; and driving sustainment.

Working knowledge of ERP/CRM software setup and maintenance best practices

Working knowledge of enterprise information technology, including virtualization, patching, networking and security.

Working knowledge of authentication technology; multi-factor authentication, LDAP/Active Directory, and relevant IT architecture

Working knowledge of applications interfaces such as SOAP Web Services, Rest API, JSON, XML, CSV, etc.

Working knowledge of the administration of database technologies such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

Working knowledge of database structure and design, such as relational, non-relational, etc.

Working knowledge of application security and data protection/privacy best practices.

Ability to communicate technical information to users.

Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Ability to work with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities and achievements.

Ability to prioritize multiple requests or projects that may have competing priorities and complex dependencies.

This position requires working outside of normal business hours to meet deadlines and to respond to critical system down situations.

This position requires supporting the help desk after hours on a rotational basis.
