Position Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Enrollment Coordinator with MLTC (Managed Long Term Care) experience to join our healthcare client's team. This position plays a critical role in supporting eligible members through the enrollment process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to potential members and respond to enrollment inquiries
- Coordinate and process new member enrollments into MLTC programs
- Verify applicant eligibility and manage required documentation
- Accurately enter data into enrollment systems and maintain updated member records
- Communicate with internal teams, field staff, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions
- Monitor enrollment statuses and follow up to resolve discrepancies or delays
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and plan-specific regulations
- Provide high-quality customer service to members, caregivers, and referral sources
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in healthcare enrollment, MLTC, Medicaid/Medicare, or care coordination required
- Strong working knowledge of MLTC policies and procedures (NY State)
- Experience using health plan systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Bilingual a plus (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, Russian)
Preferred
- Prior experience with eMedNY, HCS, or other NY Medicaid systems
- Familiarity with DOH regulations and UAS assessments
