Position Title: Enrollment Specialist

Reports to: Enrollment Services Coordinator

Employment Status: Full-Time; Hourly; Non-Exempt

Compensation: $19.25 an hour

Benefits: Fully paid family health and welfare plan, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription; Pension contribution; optional 401K; Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays; reimbursement for travel.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15221 (in-person)

Responsibilities:
-Become proficient in computer enrollment software (Salesforce), database functioning's, and tracking systems
-Provide accurate and complete information to referrals - making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls
-Schedule referrals for educational sessions being highly aware of the need for detailed work

-Help troubleshoot barriers to customers participation in educational opportunities
-Participate actively as part of the customer service team
-Provide excellent customer service to participants, clients, and other stakeholders
-Complete administrative functions as needed including but not limited to outbound recruitment and marketing
-Keep accurate records of trainee interactions and always resolve trainee issues or complaints with professionalism and in a timely manner.
-Perform additional duties and projects as needed to ensure overall functioning of the work

Essential Skills/Attributes:
-High school degree or GED required
-Aptitude and experience working on a computer
-Knowledge of Google and Microsoft programs
-Experience using Salesforce (preferred)
-Ability to work independently and as a team member
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Experience working with people with disabilities, in health care, or in-home care a plus (preferred)
-Experience working in customer service particularly in an office setting, is highly desired
-Experience working for a labor union or social justice organization (preferred)

-Bilingual applicants are highly desired, Spanish preferred and will be given special consideration

Schedule:

-Daytime schedule (8 hour shift)

-Monday through Friday
