- Full Salary Range: $22.00 - $32.56/hour - depending on education and experience
- Cafeteria Plan: In addition to the base compensation, benefits-eligible employees receive an extra $5,640 per year to put toward benefit costs or to be used as additional take-home pay

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdmission and Registration - Assist with Front-facing customer service via phone, email, and in-person with any questions regarding registration and/or admission to the college.
- Assist the department with managing official student records, course schedules, registration, official and unofficial transcripts, grade petitions, degree audits, distance education, dual credit enrollment, graduation process, and monitoring academic guidelines while maintaining FERPA guidelines in an electronic depository as needed.
- Monitor student progress using Degree Works and assist with fulfilling graduation requirements toward completion throughout: admission, program change, graduation application, and credential awarding.
- Serve as the lead role in managing Degree Works functions including scribing, training, academic pathways, and maintenance of the system.
- Provide support to the Commencement Committee and participate in the annual ceremony, serve as backup to provide to graduation attendees and program listings, and assist with diploma creation, printing, and distribution to students as needed.
- Serves as a backup to assist with incoming transcript evaluations and program applicability, aid in processing course waivers/substitutions to ensure compliance with college, state, and federal policy.
Administrative Support - Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Dean by managing the calendar, coordinating appointments and meetings, and overseeing travel arrangements, including processing travel requests and claims.
- Draft, proofread, and finalize various documents, such as forms, letters, meeting minutes, agendas, memos, and other correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records in the Banner system, including data collection, record maintenance, and data entry for departmental services.
- Oversee and track the departmental budget and expenses, including monitoring purchasing card transactions.
- Coordinate and assist with departmental meetings, ensuring timely follow-up on pending items and facilitating effective cross-departmental communication.
Customer Service and Collaboration: - Protect student privacy according to FERPA regulations; be a FERPA ambassador for the college.

Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of policies, procedures, rules and regulations governing college admissions, residency classification, student privacy, curriculum, and academic credential awarding. Knowledge of relational databases and data integrity. Skilled in creative problem solving and analytical thinking. Ability to work autonomously; think critically and perform multiple tasks accurately and quickly while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree and 1 year of experience in directly related functions; or 5 years of progressively responsible experience in directly related functions; or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job and/or approved by the Human Resources department.
Preferred Experience working in post-secondary institutions (specifically at the community college level) in a Registrar's Office or Enrollment Services Office. Experience working with a student information system (Banner, Colleague, PeopleSoft, etc.) and with degree audit software (e.g., Degree Works). Demonstrated ability in critical decision making and problem solving. Must be detail oriented and have a concern for data integrity.
