Job ResponsibilitiesYork Technical College, a member of the South Carolina Technical and Comprehensive Education System, is a public, two-year institution of higher education that offers a variety of associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Through maximizing student success, the College seeks to contribute to the economic growth and development of York, Lancaster, and Chester counties and of the State.
The Admissions and Enrollment Management department is seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated Enrollment Services Counselors. The selected applicants will play a key role in assisting prospective students through the enrollment process, working collaboratively with departments across the college, and helping drive student success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitor assigned territory to set and achieve enrollment goals using CRM (Ellucian Recruit) and SIS (Ellucian Colleague).
- Collaborate with the enrollment communications team to implement communication workflows, including emails, phone calls, and text messages to prospective students.
- Coordinate with departments such as financial aid, the registrar's office, and academic divisions to support student enrollment.
- Maintain conversion goals at various stages of the enrollment funnel, using enrollment metrics to achieve new student enrollment targets.
- Organize and facilitate prospective student events, including information sessions.
- Support new student registration and academic planning by understanding acceptance and course placement processes.
- Represent York Technical College in the tri-county service area at various agencies, businesses, and industry events.
- Participate in college-wide activities and committees to support student retention and success.
Minimum and Additional RequirementsA Bachelor's degree and at least two years of recent experience in college admissions, admissions outreach, or student recruiting.
Preferred QualificationsA Master's degree in College Student Personnel, Counseling, or a related field.
