Minimum Qualifications

Essential Job Functions

The Enrollment Communications Specialist will provide support to the Enrollment Communications Team by assisting in various communication tactics and strategic enrollment planning. Duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist in managing CRM communication campaigns, plans, workflows, and related CRM tasks in order to achieve enrollment goals.
  • Work with Enrollment Management to identify and address communication needs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist in writing compelling and effective recruitment messages.
  • Assist in documentation and communication flow mappings of all campaigns.
  • Create and edit email and communications.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance CRM daily communication procedures, workflows, and data integrity.
  • Assist in social media/digital strategies.
  • Use data and surveys to measure and enhance message effectiveness and user satisfaction.
  • Motivation to work effectively in a creative and collaborative environment and offer innovative contributions to overall communication goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple communication/marketing projects.
  • Ability to learn and grow in social media marketing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skill. Experience with project management systems (trello, hive, etc.) is a plus.
  • Ability to compile and analyze data, assess, and make subsequent recommendations and decisions.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems, preferably Slate, as well as basic knowledge of html.
  • Knowledge in graphic design
  • 3 years of Marketing, Communications, Admissions, or Enrollment Management experience.

Required Functional Competencies to Successfully Perform Job Duties.

Project Management: Assist the director in managing the Enrollment Management production schedule. Use data and surveys to measure and enhance message effectiveness and user satisfaction and to create and meet strategic goals and key performance indicators.

Communication-Written: Write compelling and effective recruitment messages. Create and edit email/SMS communications. Support digital content.

Communication-Verbal: Communicate effectively with campus partners, vendors and colleagues in the division of Enrollment Management. Some duties may include sending reports and updates to campus partners on behalf of EM.

Knowledge-Technical: Ability to learn the CRM (Slate) and it's marketing functions. Manage and edit and send messages via the CRM to reach prospective students.

Pay will be commensurate with applicant competencies, budget, equity and market considerations.
