What You'll Do:
- Build and install complex vehicle wiring harnesses for power and data communication, using engineering schematics and diagrams
- Perform low-voltage electrical wiring tasks across automotive, commercial truck, or off-road platforms
- Modify vehicle systems-mechanical and electrical-to support the integration of autonomy hardware and software
- Independently transform high-level engineering concepts into fully functional vehicle systems
- Prototype and iterate quickly to support dynamic development timelines
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Support testing and validation efforts, including setup and execution of test procedures
- Maintain clear documentation of processes, builds, and test results
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, and Logistics
- Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment by following best practices
What We're Looking For:
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, particularly in robotics or autonomous applications
- Hands-on experience with vehicle electronics, including ADAS components and CAN bus communication
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping and a range of fabrication methods
- Comfortable working with schematics, diagnostic tools, and vehicle telemetry systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE Certification or equivalent technical credentials
- Experience with medium- or heavy-duty vehicles, including diagnostics and repairs
- Familiarity with autonomy sensors-LiDAR, radar, and camera systems-and their integration into vehicle platforms
- Proficient with both Windows and Linux operating environments
- Strong fabrication skills (mechanical and electrical)
Benefits:
