Position Summary:
A leading manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a team in enhancing productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This is a mission-critical leadership role focused on automation transformation and robotics integration to support long-term scalability and innovation. The ideal candidate must have a stable employment history, be currently or recently unemployed, and hold an engineering degree with direct experience leading automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a team of engineers and technical professionals. Lead automation and robotics transformation projects to streamline operations. Oversee manufacturing process design, implementation, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with product development, operations, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and operational efficiency. Apply lean manufacturing principles to drive process improvements. Develop and manage capital projects with a focus on automation and cost optimization. Monitor and manage engineering budget and resource planning. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (Required). Minimum 7+ years of engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing or distribution environment. Proven success leading automation transformation or robotics implementation projects. Strong knowledge of automated manufacturing systems, digital process design, and lean manufacturing practices. Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ideal Candidate Will Also Have:
