AAC is looking for an experienced and energetic Engineering Manager to join it's talented and growing team. This person will help manage and guide our R&D teams to deliver exceptional MEMS based products to our customers. They will build strong customer relationships through dedicated customer engineering support and product development while working closely with our engineering and management teams in China.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for interacting with customer engineering windows, introduce new products to customer engineering teams, and support ongoing design and development efforts.
  • Coordination and management of the NPI new case development project process, and mobilization of relevant resources to meet project needs.
  • Coordinate and monitor feedback from our internal project team, make sure all relevant resources are assigned to meet project needs
  • Able to lead and provide meeting notes for meetings with customers regarding the technical aspects of the projects and consolidate the information and requests for our R&D team to follow up
  • Coordinate the work progress of our engineering, production and sales teams to deliver on customer requirements.
  • Can quickly respond to customer needs, strong sense of engineering, adapt to high-intensity, fast-paced working environment.
  • Be available as needed to assist customers and colleagues even outside of normal business hours.
  • Customer communication and information transmission, risk identification and control, report on project progress, problem points and solutions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; Electronics, Microelectronics, or Mechanical Engineering are strongly preferred.
  • Strong MEMS Expertise: Hands-on experience with MEMS processes and products, preferably in MEMS microphone or sensor manufacturing. Deep understanding of complex mechanical assemblies and familiarity with MEMS-related acoustic design parameters.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with customer engineering teams to address technical challenges and implement corrective actions. Experience in direct client interaction and support roles, with a focus on building long-term, trust-based partnerships.
  • Technical Rigor: Knowledge of wafer-level and chip-scale packaging, acoustic design integration, and material selection for performance and reliability. Capable of supporting both design and manufacturing activities in high-volume production environments.
  • Engineering & Product Development Background: Minimum of 5 years' experience in consumer electronics or related fields, successfully bringing products from concept through to mass production.
  • Organized & Project-Oriented: Exceptionally well-organized in both digital and physical environments. Skilled in managing multiple projects across cross-functional teams, including international support and coordination.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to clearly communicate across all levels of staff and management. Comfortable engaging with diverse teams and personalities. Experience working with international stakeholders, particularly in China, is a strong plus.
  • Global Experience: Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally, including extended stays when needed. Mandarin language skills and/or prior experience working with Chinese factories is highly desirable.
