Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Control Specialist to join our team and contribute to the design and development of control programs for electro-mechanical and electronic control refrigeration systems. In this mid-level position, you will work under minimal supervision, coordinating with other engineers and technicians to ensure the successful implementation and operation of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design control programs based on project wiring diagrams and I/O for refrigeration systems.
- Interpret hardware and instrumentation schematics and assist in writing operational sequences.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement system changes and ensure specifications are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues alongside field technicians and customers.
- Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure product conformity with design specifications.
- Engage with customers, contractors, and vendors to address warranty and technical support issues.
- Prepare and present technical proposals and cost estimates.
- Provide regular updates on project statuses and future initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in programming CPCs, PLCs, and HMIs with systems integration.
- Proficiency in electrical panel layout, schematic design, and ladder logic programming.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration system circuit design, with field experience preferred.
- Experience in customer interaction, sales, and quoting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of natural refrigerants such as CO2 and Ammonia is desired.
- Ability to work independently while effectively communicating across teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Capability to stand, walk, sit, and communicate effectively.
- Occasionally required to perform physical activities such as reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
