Pay: $19.50 per hour

The Engineering Administrative Specialist position is crucial for providing vital support to the Engineering Department. This role involves managing various software systems, facilitating communication with contractors, planning and coordinating departmental activities, controlling inventory, and acting as the primary point of contact within the department. You'll collaborate with all operational areas based on business needs and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize technology such as phones, radios, and emails to communicate property requirements effectively.
  • Assign and track preventative maintenance tasks using software like HotSOS and other Great Wolf systems.
  • Maintain Unifocus payroll and scheduling for efficient operations.
  • Manage the ordering, receiving, stocking, and system setup for new vendors using Coupa.
  • Research costs and ensure the availability of necessary parts, materials, and tools.
  • Oversee budget tracking and management through Capex and OpEx budgeting tools.
  • Perform data entry for the Engineering Scorecard and various departmental records.
  • Schedule and coordinate outside contractor support and work assignments.
  • Collaborate with departments on work requests affecting guest services and maintenance needs.
  • Serve as the safety committee representative and communication leader.
  • Perform basic maintenance service calls, including troubleshooting television and HVAC issues, changing light bulbs and batteries, and making repairs when possible.
  • Assist during Water Park shut-downs with tasks such as cleaning and painting.
  • Take on additional job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience with data entry and computer systems.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Flexible schedule based on business needs.
  • Strong oral communication skills in person and via phone, with positive conflict resolution abilities.

  • Prior experience in the hotel, resort, or theme park industry.
  • Attention to detail and a positive, enthusiastic demeanor.

  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Able to bend, stretch, and twist.
  • Able to stand or sit for extended periods.
