Primary Skills: CCNP/CCIE (Expert), Networking (Expert), Data Center Management (Expert), VMWare (Proficient), Cisco Products (Proficient) Contract Type: W2 Duration: 6+ momths Location: , Richardson, TX Pay Range: $52-$55/hr on W2 Job Summary: We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Data Center Engineer with extensive experience in data center operations and a deep technical background in networking and Cisco products. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a team environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills even under pressure, and possesses excellent communication abilities. This role involves managing the expansion and upkeep of our data center, ensuring high standards in infrastructure and network issue resolution, and leading continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities: Plan, build, and manage data center expansions, including design and management of rack infrastructure, cable, device network/IP, and compliance. Lead issue resolution management for infrastructure and network; vendor, asset, and capacity management. Ensure policy compliance within the data center and maintain accurate operational documentation. Own the resolution of high and low visibility issues, providing exceptional communication throughout the process. Innovate by identifying and implementing improvements to systems, tools, and processes. Must-Have Skills: Strong experience in data center networking and infrastructure operations. Proficiency in Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches, ISR routers, ASA and Firepower Firewalls, and VMWare. Demonstrated capability in dynamic routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and VPN solutions. Industry Experience Required: Extensive experience in Data Center Operations and Production Network Operations, ideally with 5+ years in relevant roles.
