What you'll be doing We're seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and help us create exceptional digital experiences. You'll be responsible for developing digital applications for Verizon Prepaid brands, focusing on building seamless user experiences using industry-leading tools and software, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding business results.
- Providing technical solutions and business expertise for complex, multi-channel projects.
- Collaborating with business partners to design and implement marketing and new product programs for digital channels.
- Delivering programs in a product-based Agile structure.
- Maintaining functional/technical requirements, analyzing system architectures, and ensuring optimal application performance.
- Leading emerging technology initiatives, facilitating decision-making and driving integration with third-party software products.
- Driving DevOps implementations from ideation to delivery.
- Partnering with Global Delivery teams to create and optimize cross-channel experiences.
- Delivering results within budget, time, quality, and strategic KPIs.
- Documenting and complying with software quality, data security, and compliance processes.
- Recommending and implementing customer experience process improvements.
- Resolving customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
You'll need to have: - Bachelor's degree in a technical area of study (CS, IT, Engineering) or four or more years of work experience
- Experience in Software Development
- Experience developing UI/UX, with React, Next.js, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
Even better if you have one or more of the following: - Experience working with AWS, GCP, and NoSQL/Cassandra databases.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge in integrating with AI technologies.
- Proven success in managing multiple, concurrent projects.
- Experience in delivering large, complex software programs.
- Understanding of technology selection, architecture, and full-stack implementation.
- Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
- Experience in Design Thinking and Engineering Transformation.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and team motivation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer-focused orientation.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $84,000.00 and $155,000.00 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
