Northrop Grumman is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer:
Looking for an Embedded Software/Systems Engineer local to San Diego, CA. This person will be responsible for being a strategic leader in the development of cutting-edge System-on-a-Chip (SoC) for a military communication application for the Department of Defense. The individual selected for the role will be a subject matter expert in SoC development and should be able to provide thought leadership and insight into the continued development of new SoC systems. This role will require individuals to obtain a DoD secret clearance (or higher level) upon hire for this role.
Responsibilities:
• Provide thought leadership in the development of cutting-edge System-on-a-Chip (SoC) for a military communication application for the Department of Defense.
• Act as subject matter expert in SoC development and provide thought leadership and insight into the continued development of new SoC systems.
Basic Qualifications for Embedded Software Engineer:
• Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 15 years of experience.
• Experience with full lifecycle System-on-a-Chip (SoC) development and specializing in SoC architecture
• Experience working with software-defined radios.
• This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance per business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications for Embedded Software Engineer:
• Active SECRET clearance.
• Working knowledge of Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset development
