This role requires a balance between Tableau development and administration, ensure smooth production releases and ongoing support. This role will work closely and partner with both the support team and the engineering team to uphold standards and performance best practices. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SQL, data warehouse technologies, and popular BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI. Skills should include troubleshooting and optimizing query performance and creating user-friendly dashboards that distill complex data into easily digestible formats. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.Your Key Job Functions Administer and maintain Tableau Server and Tableau Online environments Develop and optimize Tableau dashboards and reports to support business needs Create interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics Perform production releases and ensure seamless deployment of Tableau objects while maintaining strict adherence to the change control process Collaborate with business units, business analysts, and data architects to identify and implement BI solutions Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations Stay current with emerging BI technologies and best practices Consult with support and engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, availability, and reliability Troubleshoot and resolve dashboard issues and data discrepancies quickly and accurately Implement security protocols and governance policies within Tableau Automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency Oversee and manage platform upgrades and migrations as neededWhat You Bring to the Team Required bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or related field Minimum of 5+ years of experience in administering and developing dashboards using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud, with previous experience in Restaurant Operations being a plus Proven expertise using software including, but not limited to, Advanced SQL, Excel, API's, cloud databases (AWS, Azure), scripting languages (Python, R, JavaScript), and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Qlik) Certification as a Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Professional Proven experience in Tableau administration with a strong understanding of Tableau Server architecture and infrastructure Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills A 'self-starter' attitude that thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment Strong communication style, both verbal and written, with experience presenting complex ideas to varying levels of familiarity, adjusting style to their experience and needs High organization, attention to detail, and project management skills Proven ability to influence and build productive and cooperative relationships with team members, stakeholders, senior leadership, and other key partnersWhy BrinkerWe offer a competitive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, paid vacation/holidays, and 401(k) with company match and generous dining discounts.
