Our client, a prominent Amlaw 50 firm, is seeking a skilled Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their nationally recognized Energy & Infrastructure Practice in any of their offices (CA, MA, IL, NY, OR, WA, TX, D.C., or WV). Candidate Profile:



  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record(link removed)>



  • Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction(link removed)>



  • 35 years of substantive real estate experience, preferably in the energy and infrastructure sector.




  • Strong experience handling real estate matters related to project finance, including wind, solar, and battery storage projects(link removed)>



  • Proficiency in reviewing and advising on title and survey issues is required(link removed)>



  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.




  • Ability to manage complex transactions in a fast-paced environment.




  • Strong client service skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.






Key Responsibilities:


  • Advise clients on real estate matters throughout the project lifecycle, from initial due diligence to project development, financing, and M&A transactions.




  • Structure and negotiate real estate components of energy and infrastructure transactions.




  • Conduct title and survey reviews, resolve land use and zoning issues, and coordinate with local counsel as needed.




  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including finance, regulatory, and corporate attorneys, to support large-scale energy projects.




  • Stay informed on emerging trends in energy and infrastructure law and contribute to the firms thought leadership.
