Job Details Endpoint Engineer (Remote CST/EST) We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Engineer to join the internal IT Operations team for a leading technology solutions provider. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the company's end-user computing environment. The Endpoint Engineer will focus on application packaging, software deployments, device compliance, and handling escalated support tickets.
This is a fully remote role, but the team works primarily on CST/EST hours. Candidates in these time zones are preferred, but all U.S. locations will be considered.
Key Responsibilities - Handle and resolve Tier 1 & Tier 2 escalated tickets related to endpoint devices, application deployments, and compliance issues.
- Build, test, and deploy software packages using tools such as MECM/SCCM or Intune.
- Monitor and ensure all endpoint agents (security, management, etc.) are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
- Work with security teams to identify, assess, and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities, including unpatched systems and outdated software.
- Manage and apply patches and Microsoft updates across all corporate devices to ensure security and performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance system performance, and optimize deployment methods.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for endpoint management tools, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Participate in desktop-related projects and implementations as assigned.
Required Qualifications - 3-5 years of experience in endpoint management or similar roles.
- Hands-on experience with MECM/SCCM or Intune to manage application packaging, deployments, and updates.
- Experience handling escalated support tickets related to software deployment, compliance issues, and configuration management.
- Strong understanding of application management, vulnerability management, and patching processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in a mid-to-large enterprise IT environment.
Nice to Have - PowerShell scripting experience for automation and process improvements.
- Experience working in environments with structured documentation and change management processes.
Work Environment - Fully remote within the U.S., with preference for candidates able to align to CST/EST hours.
