Endoscopy Technician I

Education Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience Required: 6 months clinical experience Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical/problem solving skills Able to work in an organized manner Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days Position Competencies: Competencies are essential skills needed to be successful in a position. Efficient in general scope mechanics/operations. Correctly reprocesses endoscopes according to standard. Works in conjunction efficiently with physician and nurse during procedures. Assists in transporting patients to and from the outpatient care unit. Efficient in use of proper body mechanics as to prevent injury to self and/or patient.
