Must be certified. Requires 2 years of experience in a Level 1 hospital. The unit is the inpatient operating room with multiple specialties, including being a Level 1 trauma center. The facility offers a range of services, including general OR and CVOR specialties. Experience in open cardiac and vascular/endovascular procedures, utilizing wires and stents, is preferred. Specific CVOR training is advantageous when that specialty is required, but general OR experience is necessary. BLS (AHA Only) is required. Includes 4 call shifts per month and one weekend shift per month, with possible holiday shifts.
