PA license Required; DEA; DATES & Schedule (call): 3/17-5/9 Conducting outpatient visits for new and follow-up patients Managing chronic endocrine disorders (e.g., diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders) Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (e.g., hormone panels, glucose tolerance tests, thyroid ultrasounds) Adjusting medications and treatment plans based on patient response Performing or assisting with in-office procedures (e.g., fine-needle aspiration of thyroid nodules) Educating patients on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and disease prevention Coordinating care with primary care physicians, specialists, and diabetes educators Providing phone or in-person consultation for urgent endocrine cases Addressing hospital consults for endocrine-related conditions (e.g., diabetic ketoacidosis, adrenal crisis, thyroid storm) Adjusting inpatient diabetes and insulin management plans Managing urgent electrolyte and metabolic abnormalities Collaborating with hospitalists and intensivists for inpatient endocrine care Date Posted: 15 May 2025
