Key Responsibilities
- Support 2 attorneys through all phases of the litigation process, including case intake, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Conduct thorough legal and factual research relevant to employment law cases.
- Manage and organize documents for electronic filing.
- Assist with drafting pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate depositions, witness interviews, and trial logistics.
- Maintain up-to-date case files and ensure deadlines are tracked and met.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and outside counsel as necessary.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience. Employment law experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software (LexisNexis, Westlaw, Relativity, or similar platforms).
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, effective time management, and superb written/verbal communication skills.
