What You'll Do:
- Conduct in-depth legal research and manage case databases.
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices for litigation.
- Assist attorneys with discovery requests in employment law and class action cases.
- Gather and analyze case-related data from multiple sources.
- Collaborate with experts and prepare materials for review.
- Facilitate voir dire, jury selection, and witness preparation.
- Subpoena records (medical, billing, employment, and workers' compensation).
- Prepare detailed medical chronologies and Howell analysis.
- Summarize written discovery and document productions.
- Conduct background checks, social media investigations, and litigation history research.
What We're Looking For:
- 3 years of recent civil litigation experience (employment law, wage & hour class actions, PAGA cases).
- Strong proficiency in Word, Outlook, and OneDrive-must be comfortable handling multiple databases.
- Critical thinker who thrives under pressure and makes sound decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, experts, and third parties.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
- Trial preparation and trial support experience is a must.
- Solid knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documents, court rules, and procedures.
- ABA-approved paralegal certificate or relevant certification preferred.
