Job Details

Responsibilities

• Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution, including case assessment, strategy development, pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation
• Draft and review legal documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive case strategies
• Provide proactive legal advice to clients regarding employment practices and risk management
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and court decisions affecting employment litigation
• Mentor and guide junior associates and support staff on case management and legal research

Qualifications

• Nine years of experience in employment litigation or a closely related field
• Admission to the California Bar
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex employment litigation cases
• Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent client management skills and a commitment to providing outstanding legal service
• A deep understanding of California employment law and litigation procedures
