Employment Law/Litigation Attorney
Location: Irvine, CA
Position Type: Contract or Contract-to-Hire, Hybrid, Full-Time or Part-Time
Pay Rate: $90 $110/hour
LHH is working with a prestigious law firm in Irvine, CA seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney with a strong background in litigation to assist with a growing caseload involving both single-plaintiff matters and class/representative actions. This is a contract or contract-to-hire opportunity with a well-regarded firm based in Irvine.
Responsibilities:
Handle all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
Advise clients on employment law matters, including wage and hour issues, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
Appear in court and at mediations, arbitrations, and depositions
Manage multiple cases efficiently and with minimal oversight
Qualifications:
3+ years of employment law and litigation experience, including class/representative PAGA actions
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Experience managing discovery and taking/defending depositions
Strong communication and organizational skills
California Bar membership in good standing
Pay Details: $90.00 to $110.00 per hour
