Employment Law Attorney - Seattle, WA

A highly regarded law firm in Seattle is seeking a skilled Employment Law Attorney with first-chair litigation experience to join its dynamic legal team. This is a prime opportunity to play a leadership role in handling complex and high-stakes employment law matters.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage employment litigation cases from intake through trial or resolution


  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials


  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs


  • Advise clients on employment policies, regulatory compliance, and risk management


  • Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution


  • Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to strategic firm initiatives



Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school


  • Active Washington State Bar membership


  • 3-8 years of employment law experience


  • First-chair trial experience strongly preferred


  • Strong litigation skills: depositions, discovery, motions practice, and advocacy


  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities


  • Proven ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively
