Employee Relations Manager
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Employee Relations Manager with 5 years of experience ina similar position in the non-profit industry. This is a Direct Hire role, located in Brooklyn, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies to address workplace issues and improve employee satisfaction. Act as a mediator in conflict resolution and provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
- Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards. Educate employees and management on policy changes and implications.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and allegations of misconduct. Document findings and recommend appropriate actions.
- Ensure the company's compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Stay updated on legal changes and advise management on necessary adjustments.
- Support the performance management process by providing coaching and feedback to managers and employees. Assist in the development of performance improvement plans.
- Design and deliver training programs on employee relations topics, such as conflict resolution, communication skills, and workplace ethics.
- Prepare and present reports on employee relations activities, trends, and outcomes to senior management. Use data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Promote employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and productivity. Organize events and activities that foster a positive work environment.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues. Provide expert advice on handling sensitive situations and making informed decisions.
