Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate financial risk of benefits for clients.
  • Communicate with internal/external customers.
  • Use demographic analysis to drive strategies like plan changes and funding.
  • Develop cost reduction opportunities using analytical tools.
  • Create RFPs for carriers and manage renewals.
  • Explain financial analyses to internal teams and clients.
  • Perform technical analysis of insurance contracts.
  • Prepare reporting packages for client meetings.
  • Work on new business quotes and renewals.
  • Mentor junior analysts/account managers.
  • Participate in training programs.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • 3-5 years' experience in employee benefit analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, MS Office, and Adobe products.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of benefit products (Medical, Dental, Life, Disability, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • State Health & Life insurance licenses or willingness to obtain.
