Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate financial risk of benefits for clients.
- Communicate with internal/external customers.
- Use demographic analysis to drive strategies like plan changes and funding.
- Develop cost reduction opportunities using analytical tools.
- Create RFPs for carriers and manage renewals.
- Explain financial analyses to internal teams and clients.
- Perform technical analysis of insurance contracts.
- Prepare reporting packages for client meetings.
- Work on new business quotes and renewals.
- Mentor junior analysts/account managers.
- Participate in training programs.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree required.
- 3-5 years' experience in employee benefit analysis.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, MS Office, and Adobe products.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of benefit products (Medical, Dental, Life, Disability, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- State Health & Life insurance licenses or willingness to obtain.
