Our client, a highly respected firm in the benefits consulting space, is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join their growing team. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with expertise in small and mid-market benefits who thrives in a client-facing, strategic support role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of small and mid-market group clients, providing strategic guidance on employee benefits programs.
  • Advise clients on Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Assist with benefit plan design, renewals, and open enrollment processes.
  • Analyze and present benefits data using Excel and PowerPoint to support client recommendations.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and carriers, addressing plan-related issues and resolving concerns.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes to ensure clients remain compliant.
  • Deliver exceptional client service, proactively addressing inquiries and providing tailored solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in employee benefits account management, preferably with both small and mid-sized employer groups.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance, ACA regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and client presentations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with internal teams and clients.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
