The Emergency Room Nursing Supervisor will report directly to the Nurse Manager of Emergency Services. This person will feel supported by their Manager and the Director of Emergency Services, and will lead a fantastic team of ED RNs. This Nurse Leader will have the opportunity to grow and develop their career under the direction and mentorship of a great team in a world-class department.
The Emergency Room Nursing Supervisor will lead efficient patient care throughout all of the operating rooms. This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with physicians and managers in regards to operational issues and addressing problems with staffing and equipment as they occur while the Emergency Room Nursing Supervisor is supervising. The Emergency Room Nursing Supervisor will also be expected to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.
