Our client is seeking a Critical Care Pulmonologist with training in Sleep
- Locum to perm
- Can be boarded in Critical Care Pulm and Sleep Medicine
- Strong desire to relocate
- Core Responsibilities:
1. Critical Care (ICU)
Manage acutely ill patients in medical/surgical ICUs.
Perform procedures: central lines, intubations, chest tubes, etc.
Work in shifts or blocks (often 7-on/7-off or rotating weekends).
Often part of a multidisciplinary team.
2. Pulmonary Medicine
Outpatient and/or inpatient consults for pulmonary conditions (COPD, asthma, ILD, pulmonary hypertension, etc.).
May include bronchoscopy, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and long-term ventilator management.
3. Sleep Medicine
Interpret sleep studies (polysomnography, home sleep tests).
Diagnose and manage sleep disorders (OSA, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome).
Develop and manage CPAP/BiPAP treatment plans.
Sleep lab medical directorship may be available.
