Emergency Medicine Medical Director opening in Rochester, New York - Located in Rochester, NY - Full-Time; permanent position - Seeking a Emergency Medicine Medical DirectorQualifications and Responsibilities:Collaborative Leadership: Work hand-in-hand with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, advanced practice providers, and emergency staff to ensure seamless operations and the highest standards of care.Innovative Practices: Implement evidence-based protocols and streamline care delivery to enhance patient outcomes.Direct the education and mentorship of residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers, shaping the future of emergency medicine.Lead patient safety and quality initiatives that uphold the ethical practice of emergency medicine while prioritizing patient and physician satisfaction.Oversee strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and operational initiatives for the adult emergency department, driving measurable outcomes in quality, efficiency, and satisfaction.Split your time 25% clinical and 75% administrative, balancing hands-on patient care with strategic leadership responsibilities.Supervise and mentor a team of physicians and advanced practice providers.Oversee daily operations of a high-acuity adult emergency department, managing scheduling, performance evaluations, and quality assurance.Lead initiatives to standardize care protocols, monitor key metrics, and drive quality improvements across the Hospital and the groups system.Represent the department in hospital committees, community outreach, and media relations as a trusted leader and spokesperson.Partner with hospital administration on strategic planning, budgeting, and enhancing emergency department performance.Board Certification: Required in Emergency Medicine.Licensure: Active New York State medical license (or eligibility)Certifications: Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications.Experience: 3-5 years of clinical experience required.
